black brick project

Black Brick Project is a cultural center in the industrial comforts near Brooklyn’s Navy Yard that provides artists, musicians, community organizers, and educators with the resources and platform they need to share their work and expand their practices.

Black Brick has studios and a gallery space, which cultivate community, pairing creators and viewers in proximity to each other. We support all artists and all forms of art. Aiming to generate dialogue through exhibitions and cultural events, bringing the community together.

Black Brick Project is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes to support underrepresented artists and youth through hands-on creative and vocational training. We seek to expand access to the arts and skilled trades by providing fabrication resources, mentorship, and community programming that builds careers, strengthens communities, and amplifies voices that are too often excluded from mainstream cultural and economic institutions.

Black Brick Project is a registered 501(c)(3)
